12:30 pm – Breaking into Newborns and Setting Yourself Up for SUCCESS with Keri Meyers
Join Keri as she discusses tips and tricks for breaking into the growing newborn portraiture market. Keri believes in setting yourself up for success and will also be sharing her own tips on preparing for and carrying out a successful newborn session, including prepping parents, session workflow and transitioning.

One of the fastest ways to get ahead in this profession is to get it right in camera and spend less time in Photoshop! Join JB as he explains their process of shooting, lighting and finishing Photoshop techniques that will get you off the computer and behind the camera where you should be. 1:30 pm – Protecting and Managing Your Copyright in the Digital Millennium with Craig Heidemann
Do you recognize the value of your art? Do you know how to protect the value of your work without giving it away? How can you educate your client about your copyright without putting them off? Come spend 45 fast-paced minutes learning about copyright registration, protection and licensing. You’ll leave with the skills to sell yourself and your work while maintaining your right to control who duplicates your work. Learn the difference between rights management and copyright transfer and how to make licensing work for you. You’ll leave knowing what to do if you’re infringed upon and how to confidently recover money damages from the infringers. I’ll give you a view of copyright protection and client education you’ve never seen before from my dual prospective as a veteran trial lawyer AND as a photographer.

11:30 am – How to Make a Statement with Your Lighting with Damon Tucci
Damon has revolutionized the art of dramatic lighting and posing for weddings and portraiture. He will analyze off camera, available and video light applications with a smattering of fashion posing thrown in for good measure.

12:30 pm – Destination Weddings with Kevin and Katie Hulett
Tips and tricks on booking weddings in beautiful locations. Have fun traveling, interacting with clients around the world, and selling yourself as a destination photographer!

1:30 pm – Marketing for Wedding Photography on as Shoestring Budget with Tab McCausland
A fun, innovative guide to market yourself on little to no budget.
