Have you had the chance to try Miller’s Signature Album and the Designer Plus software? We were confident they would both be a hit but have been overwhelmed by the positive feedback since releasing them. And now may be a better time than ever to see what all the fuss is about, as we are discontinuing the following on December 31, 2013:

  • Remote Suite Plus Albums and Books (Note: the ability to create new orders in RS+ Albums and Books will be disabled on 12/31/2013 while the ability to upload previously created orders will be disabled on 3/31/2014)
  • Album Quick Order software
  • Flush Mount Albums
  • Custom cover option for LayFlat Albums
  • iMount Albums
  • Album Boxes

So what exactly have people been saying about our new additions? That Miller’s Signature Album is a gorgeous, well-made album that’s easy to design while Designer Plus is easy-to-use, intuitive software that makes life easier. Photographers are saving serious time and avoiding big headaches with the new software.

We hope you are as excited as Jenn and so many of our other customers about Designer Plus because there is so much MORE to love. But if you need a few more specifics to help sway you, here are the highlights about why this is our best software yet:

  • Does not require any other software (i.e. Adobe AIR or Java)

We constantly strive to upgrade and streamline our products and software to ensure you have the very best tools for great success with your business. The discontinuation of the above mentioned albums and software helps us achieve this goal – too many ordering options are confusing for you and slow down Miller’s product development. Designer Plus and ROES will meet everyone’s needs.

FAQs

Q: Why use a Miller’s Signature Album over our Flush Mount or LayFlat Albums?

A: We have developed a better solution, rich with new features and enhanced quality.

Simplicity

  • Simple pricing: one price for all paper types and most covers.
  • New simple D+ ordering software with built-in templates.

Durability

  • You will love the stability and long-term durability of the Miller’s Signature Album. Unfortunately, changes in how we make the books have eliminated the ability to offer you variable pages. However, the result is a more stable album delivered consistently faster than any other lab in the business.

Construction

  • Specifically, the one-piece wraparound cover.  Our customers have overwhelming requested this feature on all albums.

Options

  • More page options (press or photographic papers).
  • More cover options.
  • Thin or thick pages.

Q: If I’ve already created a Flush Mount or LayFlat album or have plans to create one of these albums prior to the December 31st software discontinuation date. Can I still order my album?

A: Yes! All albums created in the album software prior to December 31st can be ordered. Please note that the “create” option will go away in the software on 12/31/2013.

Q: Is the LayFlat Album going away?

A: Yes and no. The custom cover option on the LayFlat Album is going away on 12/31/13 along with the ordering software AQO and RS+ Albums. However, the leather cover option for this product is here to stay. It will be added to both ROES and D+ software.

Q: Why is the LayFlat custom cover option going away?

A: To keep things simple and streamlined for you and for our production team, as the thin page option on the Miller’s Signature Album is virtually the same thing for about the same price.

Q: Can I still order the LayFlats as companion albums and get 25% off?

A: Companions are no longer available at 25% off. We were excited to offer companions initially.  However, there were a very small number of customers that actually used this service. You can duplicate and change an album size or style in D+ to make a “companion” product of the same type.  (i.e. Any Signature Album design can be changed to any other Signature Album of the same aspect ratio.  A LayFlat Book can be changed to a LayFlat Album and vice versa.)

Q: Why are we discontinuing iMount Albums and Custom Album boxes?

A: We are all about having the best products that will help photographers. Historically, sales for both the iMount Album and Custom Album Boxes have been exceedingly low. To keep the line fresh, and to keep your options relevant, these products have been discontinued.

Q: Does D+ offer the ability to order a “Web Preview?”

A: Unfortunately a “Web Preview” is not available at this time. However, “Web Preview” is something we hope to see soon! There ARE two proofing options with D+: 1) a PDF proof; and 2) the ability to export JPGs of each album page.
