In just one month we’ll be kicking off our 2012 portrait contests. We have amazing prizes for this year’s winners, so read on for the details.
Miller’s will host three separate contests this year covering three different segments of the industry: Baby and Children, Senior and Pets. A different contest will run each month beginning in May and running through July. See the table for important dates of each contest:
The contest will be hosted online, so it’s easy to participate. During the posting periods, enter your images in the contest. During the voting periods, help choose the top three winners in each category by voting for your favorites.
The top three winners from each contest will be named based on number of votes and will be announced by the 1st of the following month. Over $8,000 in prizes will be awarded, including all-expenses paid trips (valued at $2,000) to Imaging or WPPI 2013 for first place winners in each contest!
Please note a few important rules:
- All portraits for the children and pet contests taken January 1, 2012 through the ending of the posting period are eligible for entry in Miller’s 2012 Portrait Contests. Due to timing of the senior shooting season, senior images taken June 22, 2011 through June 21, 2012 are eligible.
- Participants may post only one image per subject in each contest (i.e. in the Pets Contest, only one image per pet may be entered into the contest). Miller’s reserves the right to delete multiple submissions of one subject.
- It is the responsibility of the participant to format pictures correctly prior to posting the image. We recommend keeping image sizes under 2 MG; please crop to general sizes only (i.e. 4×6, 8×10 and 5×5). Miller’s will not reformat images once submitted and reserves the right to delete any submission that fails to meet these requirements.
