A few days ago, we had an epiphany… although many of you send us your work all season long, you probably don’t know a whole lot about what the lab looks like or how we actually operate during our busiest months. The holiday season, or “rush” as we like to call it, begins the day after Thanksgiving and runs all the way through December 23rd (the last possible moment you can place an order in time for Christmas).
While many of our emails boast about our stellar turnaround time and impeccable quality, we often fail to mention one of the most important parts of our formula: our people. During rush, we are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to accommodate the increased volume for the holidays. All of the different departments come together to lend a hand with even the smallest tasks. While many could see the long hours and hard work as a burden, it’s these moments that make it truly special to work in a photo lab. Regardless of position, we come together and work side-by-side to make sure that we honor our promise to you.
We are on the homestretch and have a few long nights ahead of us, but we can’t help but smile. We feel so fortunate for the amazing people that work within the walls of our lab and for all of the talented photographers like yourself.

This is my first year to use Millers Lab, and I am never looking back! I am stunned at the turn-around time, and like others that have commented, have received my orders in a freakishly efficient next day delivery (even when placed at crazy hours the day before).
