What’s your favorite holiday food?

This is one hard question to begin with. How does one choose? I could list cheesecake, cookies, peppermint ice cream, a hot cup of latte, or I could make it simple and just say, “Anything chocolate!”

What’s your most treasured memory from this time of year?

As a child, my favorite memory of Christmas was the year I had so many presents that they towered over me. However, now that I have two beautiful children and a wonderful husband, my favorite memories involve them. I love Christmas morning—sitting in our pajamas, the Christmas tree lights on, holding a cup of coffee in my hands, and watching my family open presents. And I confess, I do still like to have a few presents to open myself.

What projects, either professional or personal, do you enjoy tackling during the holidays?

I love designing and find a lot of inspiration at Christmas time. And when the weather turns cold I can’t help but picking up my yarn and crocheting hats, blankets, and scarves.

If you went out caroling, what songs would you sing?

IF I was caroling, you would find me singing “Little Town of Bethlehem,” “Silver Bells,” or “Hark the Herald Angels Sing.” But in truth, you won’t hear me caroling, and that is to everyone’s benefit!

Do you have any family traditions during the holidays that you just love?

We have tried to establish little traditions in our family. We make a gingerbread house each year with the kids, decorate the Christmas tree, put out all my light houses and villages (to my husband’s chagrin), decorate wreaths, eat a good Christmas brunch at home, take our time opening gifts, and reading the Christmas story from the Gospel of Luke.

What’s your favorite holiday movie?

Just one? Love “Christmas Story”, “Home Alone” and “Miracle on 34th Street.”
